Interesting collection of Chinese rice/pith paper watercolour studies, all in mounts depicting macabre scenes of punishment, delicately painted fish and butterflies, other insects etc. twenty sheets (20), together with appearing to be a Chinese export licence dated 1872. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Some are stained an ripped, detailed report on request. All have glue marks to the corners. One of a boat has large torn off piece. Most have minor marks, tears or foxing. One is a glued down flying fish wing? Export licence is foxed. Additional photos added.
